Entry Costs

To become a resident at Kelly Pines Retirement Village you will be required to pay1 the following:

  1. the ingoing contribution of your premises.
  2. lease registration fee of $62.00
  3. stamp duty on Residence Contract only.
  4. mortgagees consent fee of $150.00
  5. production fees and sundries of $45.00
  6. one-half of the cost of preparing your Residence Contract, the total costs of that preparation being: $925.00 for legal costs including GST so, one-half is $462.50
  7. total costs payable by the Resident is $719.50 plus stamp duty at lease rates.

Is a deposit payable on entering into a village contract?

Yes

  • A $1,000.00 holding deposit is payable and this deposit is fully refundable should you not proceed.
  • A 5% deposit is payable upon signing of documents.
