Rent Charges

The rate/s of rent charges effective 1st of October 2007 are as follows:
$62.50 per week.

Payment of rent charges may be made:

  • By direct debit (preferred due to majority use)
  • By cheque or money order.

Are future variations in the rate/s of rent charges limited according to a fixed formula?

Yes, adjusted in line with movement in Aged Pensions as announced June each year. Single – 25% of Single Aged Pension Couple – 30% of Couple Aged Pension.
