Maison Retirement was born of an idea to provide affordable accommodation to retirees with the main focus on comfort and convenience. Two things we all seek in our lifestyle.
Kelly Pines is our first boutique village with several more such complexes in the planning for the central East Gosford area.
Maison Retirement is an Australian owned business operated by two local families: David and Bernadette Martin and Phillip and Michelle Bodiam, long term residents of the Central Coast both with young families. They value Christian beliefs and have a commitment to making life comfortable for those in their golden years. They are actively involved in church and community service organisations.
They are well versed in the accommodation needs for retirees having had involvement in developing accommodation for aged persons over the last ten years.
They saw a need to provide retirement village accommodation in boutique clusters as, whilst most seek to have casual companionship, not all feel comfortable living in a complex housing hundreds of people. Furthermore, so as to maintain independence it was felt that such clusters should be within easy walking distance to all day to day facilities. Such independence alleviates the need for the regimentation of having to wait and queue for a village bus so as to access these day to day facilities.
Having had many years experience in the construction/design, legal and accounting fields, the operators have developed well practiced disciplines affording them the necessary skills to operate the village in a professional manner. Their activities with church / community service groups allow them to operate the village with compassion.
